Chillz Dessert Lounge

The desserts and drinks are PHENOMENAL! The best desserts and some of the best service I’ve ever experienced. The atmosphere of Chillz is amazing and purely indescribable, you need to come check it out for yourself! I’ve recommended this lounge to countless friends, and will continue to do so. For sure my favourite place in Barrie!

My wife and I arrived around 9:30 at night and we had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. This was only because the place was full and not because nobody came to see us. Once seated, the attendant was very friendly and full of positive personality. We ordered the cookies and cream cheese cake and dark temptation. Both dishes were excellent. Great sizes and perfect taste. Not to mention the great presentation. The complimentary water jug is a bonus and I like how they limit waste by using utensils that can be washed. I also noticed that a lot of their ingredient containers are reusable. The only thing missing is a chocolate moose. I would have preferred that over the chocolate frozen yogurt that came with the dark temptation. There should be an option for this. We enjoyed the experience and will definitely return. I hope they get a location with more seating one day.

We ate here today during winterfest and it was delicious!! We’ve eaten here a few times and loved it but today we ordered 3 different crepes and shared them and loved all 3. All 3 of us chose the mixed berry as our favourite, the berries were so fresh!! We also had the caramelized banana and fruitella crepes. All were delicious. We had coffee to warm us up and that was good too. The Chillz lounge is really cool inside and has a really good vibe. The man who I believe to be the owner is really nice and friendly. If you’re hungry for a nice dessert this is definitely a place to go! I’ve also had the fruit and marshmallow etc… chocolate fondue and loved it.

This charming spot truly shines with its seasonal offerings, particularly the pumpkin pie cheesecake and pumpkin spice latte. The New Pumpkin Pie Cheesecake is an absolute standout. The dessert features a creamy texture with a rich, spiced flavour that balances the sweetness of the cheesecake. Equally impressive is the New Pumpkin Spice Latte. Its a well-balanced blend of spices that complements the robust espresso without overwhelming it. We tried both today and can’t wait to go back!

We ordered a B52, a lavender martini, the fondue, and sticky toffee pudding. The sticky toffee pudding is one of the best I've had in a long time. Fondue chocolate was had good balance in sweetness. Our waiter Antonio was great! Recommended the perfect drinks and desserts for us. My girlfriend is in love with the martini with empress gin. Can't wait to head back! The view is pretty nice too! Patio is nicely lit with cozy seating.

Food, service and atmosphere get 10/10. We went late night on new year eve and service was great! Our server was very kind and efficient.

Nice hidden gem in downtown Barrie that is definitely worth checking out. The atmosphere has a wonderful vibe with great lighting and nice decor. We shared a large fondue and cheesecake sampler which fed our group of five perfectly. I think next time we will try the all fruit fondue since our group wasn’t too fond of all the waffles and marshmallows - Glad they have that as an option for next time! Only suggestion is we would have enjoyed our water sooner and preferred if water refills came faster, although it is understandable as they were quite busy on the Saturday we visited.

Had an amazing time at the Chillz Lounge! The service was amazing, we had a wonderful server named Julia! 10/10. The place was super clean and the atmosphere was perfect, relaxing and a chill place to unwind, the food was to die for! Would definitely recommend the turtles cheese cake and the fondue.
